Dear Culver Bulldog Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Whether you’re returning to Culver Elementary or joining us for the first time, we are so excited to have you as part of our Bulldog family. I hope your summer was filled with fun, relaxation, and time with the people you love.

The first day of school for students in grades 1–5 is Monday, August 31, and we can’t wait to see everyone back on campus. Our kindergarten students will begin on Tuesday, September 8, and we are looking forward to welcoming our newest Bulldogs to Culver Elementary.

This year brings some exciting opportunities for our students. Every student will have PE each day, giving them more time to be active and ready to learn. Students will alternate between STEAM and Library, and music instruction will take place in each classroom. Our students in grades 3–5 will once again have the opportunity to participate in Battle of the Books, and we’re excited to launch a brand-new Robotics Club. We know these experiences help students build confidence, discover new interests, and make school even more enjoyable.

One of our biggest goals this year is to continue building on our strong attendance. We are aiming for 93% attendance or higher each month because we know students learn best when they are here every day. Thank you for making school attendance a priority whenever possible. We also encourage families to stay connected through ParentSquare, which is the best way to communicate with your child’s teacher and stay informed about everything happening at Culver Elementary.

As always, we’ll continue to teach and reinforce our three school expectations: Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Respectful. These simple expectations help create a positive school culture where every student feels welcome, supported, and ready to learn.

Thank you for your continued support and for trusting us with your children each day. We truly appreciate the partnership we have with our families and know that when we work together, our students are successful.

We are looking forward to a great school year and can’t wait to welcome everyone back.

See you soon, Bulldogs!
